Replacement canopies for 260 DA

Hi,

I recently enquired about replacement bimini and camper canopies for my 2000 260 DA on the Great Lakes boat Top web site. In their reply, they advised that they no longer keep patterns for this model/year.
I'd like to get original pattern replacements, so was wondering if there were any other OEM manufacturers.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated and I'm in the UK so shipping needs to be considered.

Same thing that happened at Westland for the 02 280DA Guys.

I just dont understand why they would dispose of something that I doubt takes up much warehouse space and would guarantee future income. :huh:

I agree. I don't think the original design was the greatest anyway but without original templates, it's unlikely a canvas maker could match up replacement sections so it looks like a whole new canvas set is going to be needed.

A quality shop should be able to match it up, provided they can get the matching Sunbrella fabric. Some have been discontinued as well.
When I have mine replaced I will be switching to the Captain Navy darker color and adding a few features including larger overlapping flaps over zippers, seams and transitions from canvas to glass.

Thay are like NBOA Insurance,they claim to fame on searays but don't let your boat get to old!!! They #*uck to. I was thinking about opening a Ins CO just for older boats. A lot of people reman these older boat better than new.
