Are those factory headlights....I mean docking lights? I thought they were aftermarket.....you may want to go over to a canbote site for advise.... :)

Are they aftermarket? hmmm. Off to the canboat site.

Docking lights were an option, but some were installed at the dealer after delivery. So who knows, they may have come from a canbote store.

Most 450 owners didn't opt for extra holes in the hull when there was a 360 degree spotlight right above and forward of the docking light location.

Oh yeah....look at that...it was an option....

Well, I have them. might as well "work" if they are there. I've also got 4 lights on the back which i'm trying to get working again. I like to refer to them as my squiding lights.

Learn something new every day. I have not seen this so far on any boats, so I certainly cannot assist you.

But I will just chime in with the others with an inane remark. LOL... Is there a foot operated push button dimmer switch located at the helm? :smt043

I am guessing from you cruise home thread, you are really enjoying this boat compared to the 280.

These might work - available at all Home Depot and Walmart stores. If they work out, let me know. I might get me a set and do the same cool mod. Dom, you still got that 4" hole saw?

And think of how much energy you'll save with a couple of these! You'd be doing your part to save the planet. Just hope they don't break or fall off and create a big mercury spill.

Mike,

After you find those bulbs, you may want to look at mounting one of these here on that arch:

That's the "Grizzly Bear" model... Look great on your boat with the front ones... Maybe add some blue/red underwater lights and some blue led's all over the cockpit and cabin... it would be awesome.

Oh, thanks for reminding me. I need to get some bulbs for those non working Hurley trim tab lights I have. I hope it's just the bulbs. I'm having bulb issues this month. Maybe I can put them all on a relay so they flash to the beat.

I found your next boat Gary. All trimmed out with blue lights. I'll take a pic for you tonight.

Ron, I tried those.. Not bright enough.

Yeah, I've heard that those lights make a cool rooster tail when you're running at high speed after dark.

I think you need to retitle this thread as "wingwow! cool mods with lights." Of course, if you have all those blue leds and underwater LEDs flashing to the beat you're going to need a disco ball. I think you can get one from 70s_surplus.com

Best regards,
Frank

Finally got ALL my lights working.

Holy crap! Can you imagine being on radar deck with 15 swells? That looks like a tippy Mutha

It's for sale. I told them Gary was interested.
