Anyone replaced docking lights on a 250/270 before? After trouble shooting today I found I am getting good voltage at the lights so I'm guessing the lights themselves must be burnt out. I tried getting them out today but had no luck! Never thought it would be that hard. There were two screws on the back to remove what looked like a heat sink, but I couldn't get the light structure itself out. I tried the screws on the side, but they are attached with small nuts only accessible inside the light for a tiny, tiny finger. Any tricks to doing this?

replace it from the outside of the hull.. remove the 4 screws on the outer plate and you should be able to access the bulb. its a 2 prong halogen with an integrated reflector.. when I pulled mine, the bulbs fell apart and the socket did as well so I just replaced the whole thing.. I bought a pair of Innovative Lighting OEM model from L&M Marine on amazon for $75, so it was a direct swap.. just do a search for Innovative Lighting Docking Lights and then look for L&M.. kinda weird user comment that they are plastic, but they are not, they are metal with chrome or black finish..
