removing old silicone from fiberglass

ok ,whats wai lanai mean in english? And no im not havin fun yet ,the waterr is hard as ice up here!

ok back to the silicone question, the 3m caulk remover worked pretty good ,you have to leave it on for at least a few hours ,i tried a spot after 15 min and it was starting to work ,after 3 hoiurs it scrapped off with a plastic razor.Buy permatex safer scrappers they have a handle and you get twice as many edges for the price.I picked them up at autovalue parts store. Thanks for the posts all windows and hatches are now ready for some 65 degree weather to install them.

Sure thing don sr.. i will try to have gf take pics while my hands are all sticky with life caulk. It will be a few weeks before its warm enough.I will also post pics of weep holes i drilled so the side sliders will actually drain outside the boat as suggested to me by akbasskings thread and by staring at the frame for many hours and wondering why didnt sea ray drill holes at the weep slots also.
