I want to remove the old Clarion Remote that is on my dash(original part that came with the boat.). I can't really see behind it, so working by feel. Anyone know what I need to do to remove this?

Is it the oval or round one? If oval, I have one that I removed to sell and can send you a pic of the back.

An aluminum u-bracket has a hole in the middle. The post of the remote goes through the bracket and has a nut screwed into it when tightened, pulls the remote tightly against the dash. Just take out that screw.
There is also a second screw holding on the ground wire. Can't remember if it's outside or inside the bracket. If outside then two screws have to come off. At least that's how mine is installed
