So I just bought a used 320 sun dancer. It currently has a raymarine c80 radar gps plotter w ns 100 vhf radio. I want to replace the ns100 with a ray marine vhf 55. After looking at the ns black box I have located the antenna hook up, and two other wires connected to he black box. One is the power /nema I/o and the other is connected to Stn1 and connects to the speaker. From what I can discern the yellow and green wires which are part of the power bundle connected to the North Star would get connected with the nema on the new ray marine radio. Which wires though, nema in or out? The power and ground from ns100 power/nema bundle would be connected to the power and ground of the new radio? Is that all? Am I missing anything. I hope someone understands my simple mind! Thanks in advance for your help.
Kevin.

Hi Kevin,
Do you have the documentation for the C80? If not, you can download it from the Raymarine website. That, along with the Ray 55 documentation will give you all the information you're gonna need. Good luck!

Thanks Larry,
i have the c80 manuals and I am awaiting arrival of the ray 55. I've downloaded the ray55 manual. Maybe holding all parts in hand will make this more understandable. I think I've found the nema wires that feed the smartcraft they appear to connected to the power/nema bundle heading to the old ns100. Time will tell! Awaiting arrival of radio to test. I'm really looking just to get the radar gps to communicate position to to the vhf...
