Help ! Has anyone ever removed the interior side panel at the port stern. Our model as the bench seat that folds out to a bed and the left side panel that has the drink holder has dry rot and I need to take out and replace it. I don't want to yank on the remaining fastners for fear of making more damage and then how do I get it back in. It appears that I might have to remove the entire interior side panel and even remove the back panel that hold the bench seat back cushion and then remove the drink holder so I can see up in the cavity to remove something that attaches the side panel to the boat. If anyone has done this..some advice and direction would be very much appreciated. I want to get this panel fixed as soon as possible. If I can get it off..I have no problem rebuilding it..had experience with upholstery before..but not familiar with these complicated side panel installs.

Thanks to anyone who can shed some light !

mpdeb1. I have a 92 330 which I believe is the same boat. I took this panel out a couple weeks ago on my boat. My armrest , drink holder and the main panel ( one you are asking about) were pretty waterlogged and rotted. The armrest was filled with water when removed. Anyway , I gave mine a good pull and the screw heads pulled through the panel. There are three screws across the panel towards the top - press on the vinyl - the screws are underneath , I believe you will have to cut the vinyl to get at the screws. The drink holder is screwed on from the back of the main panel. I have remade this panel , the drink holder and large panel which goes across the stern ( where the back seat screws to) out of Seaboard. I also had the armrest remade and used seaboard instead the wood. I can try and post some photos in the next day or so.Hope this helps - Paul.

Thank you so much for taking time to respond. I do believe that is how this situation is, but I need to pull the entire panel off in order to put those screws back on. The cupholder is attached with long thin bolts and I can get to those. The upper bumper/armrest is attached higher where the back panel angles up and that is most likely where the attachment brackets are Anyway I am thinking I can pull off and rebuild the armrestand attach back with other type brackets like the backseat cushion lifts up off brackets. Pictures say a thousand words..if you have time that would be wonderful
Thanks again
