2007 310 Sundancer. I am removing the hose from the toilet to the waste tank. Pulling from the stern end so I can follow with the new hose. It seems stuck. Any suggestions beside a come a long. It seems to be installed through a solid pipe . Removed clamps that can be seen. Cannot see any clamps holding anything. Thanks for ideas.

Our 450 had clamps in places you could not see. If there is anything removable over the path of the line take it off and look. Also where it went through the bulk head it had sealant around it that had to be removed. It was a tough project. Good Luck!!

I've considered tackling this on my 2002 340 DA, but as mentioned above, there is a huge glob of sealant at the bulkhead that appears very difficult to remove. So it's dropped down on my priority list.

I have the same model, and had this project on my winter punch list of projects, because I think it's overdue. I hadn't investigated the path through the bulkhead, but had a bad feeling that this would be a pain in the butt project. I want to replace that hose, and the connecting hoses around the holding tank with new waste hoses. The "white" waste hose, like Dometic Odor Safe isn't very flexible, but I hear there is a newer style, Raritan sani/flex is easier to work with. I'll have to poke around the forums to see what people's experiences have been with the Raritan. I know the existing white stuff is hard as a rock, had to use a heat gun just to reconnect one of them that I had to remove for some maintenance once.

The boat is "new to me" this summer. When I purchased, the waste odor was very noticeable. Surveyor suggested replacing that hose. After much reading on the forums, I discovered NoFlex and the odor has all but disappeared. That's largely why I dropped the priority level. Still, I'd be VERY interested in hearing about your experience if you go ahead with the project.

I'm also considering new duck bills because my vac pump seems to run excessively.
