We are redoing the upholstery in our 330 Sundancer and can't figure out how to remove the after bolster or the panels just under the arch. Has anyone done that? I'll attach a picture if I can figure out how.
Thank you...

If the aft bolster is anything like the one on my 290, there will be studs that go straight down through the gunwale. You'll have to reach up from underneath. My guess is you'll be able to get to studs through the speaker hole on the arch pad.

I have removed the side panels when I removed my arch for repainting. There are philips head screws in the pleats that go into the arch. I can't remember if it was 4 or 6 of them. Spread the pleats & you should see them. A couple may appear as just a hole in the vinyl as they were tightened down into the wood. The rear seat backrest I can't help you with as I've never removed it but, I'm sure someone else will.

Thanks!, I looked in there and just saw the big bolts that attach the aft "trunk" to the hull (I think) but didn't think to look up. I expect your suggestion will work!!

Thanks Todd! I did not dig that deep, kept looking for a way slide it out and guessed it was bolted from under the arch opening, I'm glad I was wrong!

Did you paint it yourself or a paint shop? Mine is peeling and some holes need to be filled. Looking to address it when the weather breaks.

I removed it & transported it to a local body shop. At first I thought it could be powder coated (like I did my windshield frame) but that shop was able to peel back some paint exposing some rather ugly welds. He said it would look like Frankenstein if he powder coated it! The body shop stripped it, did some bondo work & painted it with a 2 stage paint. I was very happy with it & how it held up until I sold the boat a couple of months ago!

Thanks man that's exactly what I needed to know. I can see it's aluminum but wasn't sure what finish would be applied. Sounds like wpoxy paint is the way to go. Appreciate your input!
