Hello,I need to know from a mechanic or someone that is familiar with the layout of this boat and has done this....My port V drive trains is leaking on the bottom. I think it's the flange seal. Anyhow, is there room and can to be done to just support the rear of the engine and pull the trains on this model? I have 350 mags. Can the trans go back far enough towards the bulkhead for the input shaft to come out and clear? I am going to pull it this fall, but of course wondering if I need to pull the engine /trains as a unit or if I can just pull the trains......I figure someone out there knows! Thanks

I have a 2000 310 with drives, this past year I replaced one of my engines by removing the transmission with the engine. My advice is to pull out engine with transmission, because there are mounting bolts that are not accessible with unit in the boat. You will have to remove prop shaft no matter what and the engine is just 2 more mounts to unbolt, a wiring harness fuel line, throttle and trans cable with battery hook up and cooling hoses. While you are at it replace your shaft seal.
