Removal of gas tank

does anyone know the best way to remove the gas tank from an 23’ 88 sea ray laguna center console. do I need to remove the center console? Thanks Jon

Interesting question. I have the 24. Did your tank die on you? I was looking at mine the other day. I think I would only have to remove the panel aft of the center console. Then it would slide back to the aft storage area. I hope I never need to find out. Please keep us updated to date.

Then Yes, CC supported above the tank cover

Thanks for the response. Riptide I’m hoping I can do it that way. But it looks like bt doctur way is what I have to do.
And yes it started leaking and not from hoses somewhere below half way point. Drained 60 gallons out yesterday.

What was the outcome of this? Did you happen to take any pictures? I am in a similar boat with mine.
