Oar rests that slide on nubs on zodiac tube. This morning the oar knocked it off, sunk like a rock, ordered new, be here Friday.
I want to use some type of glue or putty so this doesn’t happen again.
So what is a good stuff that will keep them from sliding off, but not so strong that I can pull these off if I need to deflate the zodiac.
4200? Plumbers putty? Silicone putty? Bathtub caulk?

You're talking about the little nub that the plastic clip slides onto, right? Why wouldn't you want to permanently affix it to the tube? That's the way it's normally done and it's ok when the tube is deflated. If it's a PVC-based tube, I've used HH-66 with great results.
