remote spotlight

Looking to install a new spotlight.Everything I've seen is 15' wires.Is that long enough to reach dash on a 270?Or do I need to buy another harness and splice the wires together?

they make extensions for spotlight wires, they sell cord in bulk and they also make remote controlled spotlights - all you need to do is to run two power wires
