On my 310 the spot light still lights up but it no longer rotates remotely. Is there something I should check before I go out and replace the entire spot light. Thanks for the reply.:smt001

If it is a Jabsco/ITT spotlight, the fuses are on the control panel under the rectangular bumps. "Two (2) automotive type fuses are included in the
control. One (10 amp) protects the bulb circuit, the other
(3 amp) protects the motor circuit."

The gears or motor could have a problem. One of my gears was broken so I took it apart to rebuild. Replaced the rotted gasket/boot while I was at it.

Got parts from: www.go2marine.com
You can also get parts from Jabsco.

+1 - I have had to replace the switch assy and one of the two motors on my 10 year old unit. But if neither motor is working I'd focus on a fuse.

Our ACR model has quit rotating to starboard. It did this a couple weeks ago but started working later that day. Yesterday it never cooperated.

Our spotlight also does not rotate unless you give it a nudge while holding the control. I took it apart to clean and check, and did not see anything unusal. We rarely use it, so it has not been "fixed" yet.

Mine was the switch - took it apart - sprayed it good with Woody Wax (yea, go figure, check the label) - put it back together and it works like a champ.

+1 (only I used WD40) Just like the old saying "if you don't use it, you'll lose it" applies with these spot lights.
