So since this comes up from time to time I’ll post this here. Had the marina replace my leaking remote oil lines (Merc 7.4 MPI V drive). Instead of using the merc replacements, they went ahead and had some made. They look much more robust and should last a long time.

So a couple of other tid bits for future reference. Labor ran about 2.5 hours -- removal and install. Custom hoses ran about $220 vs probably $600 for the merc. version. Kind of nice to save a $ on a boat repair. :)

I am sure it is -- High temp, high pressure. These guys don't mess around. They know their stuff and aren't afraid to charge for it. With the price of boats these days, they don't work on many under $1,000,000 new. :)
