I just spent the last 4 months refurbishing our 1973 SRV220 by myself (husband was out of town!). Having no idea what I was doing, I went for it. Refinished all the teak, cut new side boards, baitwell covers, cuddy cabin boards, put memory foam on the cuddy cushions, and made a new doghouse. Was lots of work, but fun and rewarding. Check out the before and after pictures in my album. If I can do it, anyone can.:smt038

Nice work. You may have to raise the seats a little. I have a similar yellow boat. I really like the cabin work.

Funny you should mention the seats...I ended up raising all the seats 6"...much better. We just added a top with backdrop (got that for $365.00), had it modified to fit the boat ($150.00), then had a moorage cover made ($350.00). Sure looks nice! Check out the new pics in my profile. Thanks for the compliments.

Very nice work, cuddy looks beautiful! I need to do the same thing to a '75 SRV220 this year. Seems like everyone only sells those shorter seats, do you have pics of your new seat setup? And do you have any info on the supplier for the top and backdrop?

Edit: I see your seats in your profile pics now, nice job on those. All your vinyl work looks great.
