my new one is due in 6/8 weeks, can marine fridges be shipped on their sides? 8.1 Cu ft for the 410 Dancer,,,

The shipping boxes for mine had arrows and "UP" stenciled. I do know if a refrigerator is layed on its side that it must remain upright for eight hours before plugging in so the oil can settle back into the compressor.

It should sit upright and stationary for at least 24hrs after shipping and or if installation requires any time on it's side before turning it on.
