So, after years of drought in CA and it all being blamed on anthropologic climate change, it has been nice to not have every story about this past series of storms blamed on the same. We live right in the heart of the affected region that has seen almost an entire normal season of rain fall happen just weeks after the official rain season started. We are so used to the news always parading "experts" out to shame us about how we are causing this change in weather with our life style. I have not seen one story on the local news about these serious and dangerous atmospheric river events being blamed on rich white folk with boats. They must be happy to see some of us be punished anyway though.

Yeah, remembering ozone, everyone was going to get cancer and die. The hole is closing up now, the ozone is recovering. Problem is ozone is a greenhouse gas, it's helping to warm things up now.

They use the term climate change because the cooling, warming, disappearing ozone theories all failed. So, now they look at average weather for an area. Anything that deviates from the average is a man-made crisis.

If you point out the foolishness of that argument, they will brand you a 'science denier'. This from the crowd that thinks a dude with a skirt and wish to be a woman is the same as a woman. And they believe that thing with a heartbeat growing in a woman's womb is anything but a human. But, yes, we must be the science deniers.
