Some of us in the colder climates like to play ice hockey or just go out for a nice leisurely skate on a pond or at the local rink with the family. Each year in Quebec City they have Crashed Ice Racing. Thousand of people from around the world send in an application to be one of the 200 racers that get selected. The race; they set up a track that is about 15 feet wide and drops 20 stories. Four skaters race at a time to see who will make it to the finish line first. The 2010 championships are on now and it is crazy, there is over 100,000 people watching this right now. Here is a video of the 2009.
