Red Bull Air Race

Spent the day on San Diego Bay watching the air races...No kids....just the wife, some adult friends and I! The races are pretty cool! Those guys are moving!! I can't imagine how many g's they're throwing.

I have seen this in Reno at the National Air Races and watched it on TV. On TV they show the telemetry from the planes on screen. In some of the turns and manuvers they regularly reach 9+ Gs. Not for any long period of time but they do hit those numbers. :wow:

I watched a liitle of the coverage on TV. That must be INTENSE when viewed from the water.
