I don't winterize the way some more northerly folks do because we cruise and stay on the boat over the cold months, so please: no campaigning for a different plan. I have another thread for that purpose!
Current temp gauge is quite primitive, and Googling just boggles my poor little pea brain. What's your favorite model that's mid-range on price and complexity? I've heard mention of some that will record temps over time and believe that feature will be handy.
The water rarely freezes, our daytime temps rarely stay in the 30s or lower for lengthy periods, and I'm close enough to the marina to do physical checks regularly to head off any problems related to prolonged low temps if the unit shows an instance or two below the 40 that my Boatsafe should be maintaining in the ER.
Not planning to connect it to the interwebz to check from home or anything, just looking for something better than I have.
ReadySetGo!!!
