Hello all. I have actually been a member here for 4 years and never looked at this forum. I have a 1993 250 Express Cruiser 5.7 Alpha One. Back in 2020 I started looking for something to take to Lake Erie for fishing with my wife. She has a friend who has a camper in Port Clinton who likes to fish, so the plan was we get a boat, she has the place. Turns out the boat is more comfortable to sleep on than the camper. We live in Hartville OH, and keep the boat at Fox Haven Marina on Catawba Island. It's about an easy 2 hour drive. We try to get up to the boat most weekends and stay several days. We are about 100 feet from the shower house at the marina so we don't use the water system on the boat at all. We use the microwave for breakfast and lunch and eat out on the town for dinner. We have a small ceramic heater for when it's cold and a very small window air conditioner that fits in place of the bifold extension by the cabin door. Was looking at 20 to 23 footers but found this 250 in October 2020 at an RV dealer in Syracuse NY. Too good a deal to pass up. The Express cruiser setup works well for fishing, lower floor, higher sides, rear seat cushions are removeable. Who would have thought after almost 50 years of marriage we could enjoy each others company in a boat for 3 or 4 days at a time. Plus she doesn't find things for me to do. LOL

Well, thanks for posting! I sometimes wonder if I shouldn't have gone quite as large as I did. Twin engines, twin outdrives, and an eleven-foot beam puts us in a whole new level when it comes to maintenance and running around our inland lakes. I think you have the better ride. I sure like that age of Sea Rays!

Thanks all. We enjoy our time on the boat. We love our marina, we park right in front of the boat. Put new plugs and rebuilt the carb last year and we burned about half the fuel as before. We have a newer all aluminum tandem axle trailer that tows like a dream behind my Ram 1500.

Welcome. Nice looking boat. We are also in West Harbor. Hope to see you on the water this summer.
