As the title states i just got my new eisenglass enclosure delivered. GLBT has packaged it very well and is neatly rolled up with foam sheets protecting the glass. DO you think it is ok to leave it rolled for the winter or should I take it out and lay it flat.

If not "tightly" rolled, it is fine.

I just ordered new front isinglass for the front section. They told me it would be in a flat box. Wonder how it will come.
I'm keeping the old hazy plastic for leaving up while not on the boat and will use the new clear stuff while underway on weekends.

It's definitely loosely rolled. Going to leave as is. Do you think it will be prudent to try and use the old canvas as a guide to install snaps or do it on the boat in the spring?

I suppose this is their idea of a flat box.

I would leave it in the box, looks loosely rolled with protection between each piece. I would wait until you can put it on the boat in the spring before installing the snaps - still use the old as a guide, but I would want to see the new pieces zipped in before committing to the snaps.

Zorba, wait until spring when you can zip the new glass panels onto your boat, the weather will be warmer and it will hang better.
I put new glass panels on my 320 a couple years ago, from GLBT, it was easy if you have a heavy duty crimping tool.
