Just received a letter from merc that a clip on fuel system is defective and could leak and cause a fire. Letter adviced that engine should not be run until clip replaced! Anyone else receive this letter or have the recall completed. I don't know how much of a risk there really is??? Mike(2006 340 sd 8.1's)

Don't have a 340 so did not apply to me. However if you got the letter turn it over to your service department and they will fix and bill Sea Ray or Mercruiser which ever is responsible. Other than a little time you won't be affected. :grin:
