I must be missing some type of strap. The two biminis did not come with the boat. I got them from Great Lakes.

The bimini in the rear is what I am concerned about. I have everything on right as to the poles and zipper, but what do you do with that loose bow in the middle, does it get strapped to the back bow? If so, what kind of straps?

If anyone has pics of the underside of a correctly installed rear bimini, that would help alot. Thanks

We did the same thing on our 290. The bow you are referring to should sit right where the camper top fabric has tucks in it. I went to the local marine store, purchased some 1" black nylon strap and a few clamps for it and made straps myself (less than $20). The straps conveniently go where the cutouts are in the camper top aft bow sleeve.

Let me kow if you need pictures.

Thanks, pictures would be great.

How tight does it need to be? How far should the movable bow be from the cut outs?

Contact Great Lakes and tell them you are missing the support frame straps which have plastic adjusters on them. I'm sure you can buy replacement straps from them if you have to. They may just send them for free if they were missing when the bimini top was purchased.

I can make straps or use rope if need be. I just need to know how they are supposed to be installed and adjusted. Also, do I release tension from the windshield straps first or vice versa?
