I am thinking about purchasing a Zodiac Zoom 350 S. It is 11'6" LOA and it is in my budget, holds up to 6 people, carries 1433 # total weight and capable of having up to a 20 HP motor. I don't plan on taking any trips, just cruising arouind marina and will store it on my swim platform when not being used. Anyone have any direct expereince with this particular model? Thank you!

I bought a Zodiac Zoom 260S that is 8'6" and weighs 79lbs. The 350S weight 143lbs which is heavy for your stern, and hard to get on the platform... My 260S is small enough to get on through the transom, and with two people I can lift on the bow for longer trips. A 143lbs dinghy will be PITA for you without a TNT lift...

I already have an electric winch mounted in my transome locker and can just roll it up onto my Nautley roll-on ramp.

With 5.7 V drives and full load you will ride bow high... I wish my boat was lighter... Where do you plan on storing the engine? I keep my honda 2HP under the helm seat. It does go fast but it does the job...

I have a 310 and with I had bought the 270.
