Raymarine VHF Mic stopped working

The mic on my VHF stopped working on holidays - non of the buttons function. It does recieve fine and all the funcionality of the main unit is there. It is what I assume is the original - a Ray 202 VHF/Hailer. Sine the dash panel was recently redone and the cut-out suits this unit I was hoping to get it working again. Contact with Raymarine has been futile. Wonding if anyone has any ideas. This is the removable 6 pin mic anyone know if a current Raymarine mic would plug in and work? Thoughts?

I had a similar issue. It turned out my dash cover was forcing a bend right at the end of the mic cable before the connector, pulling loose 2 connections. Handy guy at the marina soldered the connections back together and good to go.

I need to send mine back to ray marine they will not sell me a replacement

Buy a new, better vhf.....and save some money
