Raymarine Sonar Install

Has anybody installed the Raymarine sonar cpt-120 thru hull with fairing block? If so did you have to modify the fairing block to account for the deadrise angle? how is it working do you like it? I haven't ask yet where the installer is locating it but he said he needs to do so to operate correctly make sense I guess?
