Raymarine Raydata ST60 Backlight

The backlight on my trusted Raydata display has gone kaput. I'm wondering if anyone has had luck in repairing this vs replacing? I haven't removed the display yet to see if splitting the case is even possible but I thought I'd ask here first. If it can be repaired I'm betting someone on CSR has done it!

It's not a super urgent need since I rarely boat post-dark in unfamiliar waters and when I do I can still rely in BlueCharts for depth...though not ideal.

I have the same problem. I thought it was supposed to light up when the autopilot does...any body able to help?
