Exactly my thought as well. The potential Garmin/Raymarine deal seemed to be a pretty boring marriage to me; this most definitely will lead to some interesting new products. Hopefully we'll see the integration (and better affordability) of their thermal imaging technology with RM's multifunction displays.
I know you can currently just plug a FLIR or other device into a MFD's video port- but it would be uber cool to have an integrated system. I can imagine seeing a boat/ship radar return on the screen, punch a button, and have the IR cam automatically lock on and track the boat(s) for a visual...kind of like a visual ARPA!
