Hey guys!
Was able to get a used E120 classic (not touch screen).
Had it installed. Noticed that the screen is not bright (almost like on night mode).
I tried brightening the screen in the usual way- hit power button, the turn the knob to adjust brightness) but it was at its brightest level and still looked like a dim mode.

Any other ways to brighten the screen?
Thanks much!!!

Did you make sure it's not in the night mode?

If it's not this as stated in the thread, you are sol.
It is possible that the E120 was last operated with the Palette configured to Night and/or that the backlight level reduced. To change the Palette to Day, perform the following:
- Power OFF the E120
- Power ON the E120
- Wait at least 3 minutes for the E120 to complete booting
- Press the OK button
- Press and release the POWER button
- Rotate the rotary selector clockwise through 2 complete revolutions (will change the Backlight Level to full brightness)
- Press the 4th function key to the right of the POWER button to toggle the Palette configuration setting.

Before spending money, I would also do a reset to factory settings. Since it's new to you unit, chances are there's not much you need to save. But, if you have added anything, backup your data first.
