Raymarine announces Lighthouse 4

Boy oh Boy did that update screw me up. I have two Axiom Pro RVX 12's with the EV200 autopilot, AIS, Radar, B164-20 Ducer. When I went to do this morning, everything looked fine. It even had an update for the ducer to 21.0. After the update, it could not find the ducer. I restarted, shut the batteries off, restarted, etc. Finally called Raymarine tech support. They immediately took it to tier 2. At tier 2 they told me to factory reset the master.

Did that, and NOTHING WAS CONNECTED!! I went through all of the setups, and got things pretty much back to normal (even the ducer worked). The big problem, is that my autopilot wants to re-setup and calibrate. I have read the manual, but have way too many questions. I may have to hire an electronics guy to go out on a seatrial to set it up again.

Be careful with this update.

Thanks for the warning. I just downloaded LH4 but I'm hesitant to do the update since everything is currently working well and "talking" right now. I think I'll wait until V4.01 comes out.
 
It seems like the day you buy raymarine its obsolete.
