Rayline remote spotlight help

Hello. I have a Rayline remote spotlight. It all works, but when I'm underway I noticed it flopping up and down? Strange because it works fine both up/down and left/right, just seems to have some play in the up and down axis. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.:huh:

I was going to post 2 pictures in the other thread when we were talking about our boats and you mentioned you have the original sale price and build sheets. The pictures are a pile of original material and case that I got with the boat. While I don't have the original sales slip, I do have the original leather case that came with the boat and every manual for every thing on the boat, even the bilge pumps. I have the 8 page manual on that spot light and on page six shows an exploded view. :smt001 There are two parts that can cause this the Motor Clutch Assembly and the Motor and Pinion.

I could scan and send it to you as a PDF.

Yea, that would be great Ken. I also have the big grey leather case with all of the manuals, but the one for the spotlight does not show an exploded view. I even have all of the orig. paperwork and little credit cards withe serial #s for each engine, drive and transom assy. I have a westerbeke service manual and owners packet that is as thick as a darn phone book. Its nice when the PO keeps all of this documentation intact.

I will scan it and send you a copy tonight. I have also kept up with all the manuals for things that I have added. I have also gone on-line and down loaded as many as I can. I like having the manuals as PDF`s it allows you to print out and write in them but still have the un damaged original. It also makes it real handy when you are stuck and have to take something real messy apart like an electric head in the middle of no where while on your holidays. That was a lot of fun, once you start you can`t touch a thing and all the tools had to be disinfected after but that`s why I carry a gallon of bleach on the boat.

I scanned the manual for the Ray-Line as a PDF and sent it out to two people anyone else need it send me an e-mail where I can send an attachment. It's 5.7 meg
