OK, I cannot get my Raychart600xx to talk to my Northstar 800x GPS. This all displays on a R41XX Radar Display. I can get the GPS to talk to the radar, and the Raychart is displaying properly on the radar display.

Did the basic stuff I could decipher from the manuals, but no luck. Made sure all the output and inut are NMEA 0183, and tried both available ports, with no luck. Anyone with this equipment run into this problem? Hope there might be a quick fix that I have not found......

Did you just install the Northstar, or has it been there and just suddenly stopped working?
If it's new, double check the connections and be sure you've used the correct +/- wires.
If it's been there, check the connections, if they're tight it would have to be the NS- since other equipment is receiving the NMEA sentences.

No, the Northstar was installed when I purchased the boat 6 years ago. She has been on the hard for the last two and a half years, so it has been a while since it was started. I will pull the unit and check the connections. I suspect I will find that it is all connected to SeaTalk.

Now, to top things off, my 41xx array won't spin. Pulse Bearing Error.

Good weekend so far.
