Ok, need a new cord and mic for my Raymarine 215 dsc vhf , any guidance where I can find one? Searching the net is coming up blank.

You might have to send the whole thing to them. I have had 2 cords replaced on my Ray240

Call ray marine customer service and order the cord. It is $65.00, and takes under 5 minutes to attach to your existing mic. I just did mine this year. A simple DIY. There is no need to replace your mic.

I sent mine to them and for $75 the reconditioned the mic and shipped it back.. I got the contact info form someone on CSR, I will look through my email to see if I can find it

Call Linda Sullivan at Ray Marine. She handles all the repairs. I had my mic cable replaced for $75 and couldnt be happier. Linda.sullivan@raymarine.com and 603-324-7950. Call is better than email.

Mine was the CB type, not the one pictured. I didn't realize they made ac215 with that mic type.

Simple to install, remove the four screws on the mic and gently open. The connection at the mic is a flat plug in connection.

I got soaked then as they charged me $125 INCLUDING SHIPPING AND BENCH TEST. My handset/cord looked exactly like the one on the photo!
