Ray 218 Problem

I was coming back from SF Bay after a week long Club Cruise. I turned on both of my radios, thank God I have two. The one year old Ray 218 lit up, but that was it! The screen light is nice, but no data comes on the screen Any quick fixes before I rip it out?

Press on the screen during power on near the top.

The last one I had that did that had to go back to the factory for a rebuild. Moisture inside was there diagnosis.

My 218 developed different problems in the first yr. Poor connections inside requiring soldering they said. They quickly did a warranty repair but it's having problems again. It will be replaced with something else.
