raw water pump kit install

Hi all ,I have a question for some one with a newer style raw water pump for inboards .Mine are 5.7 mercs on a 86 300 weekender.When i sea trialed this boat its port raw water pump was leaking pretty good so i have removed both pumps and purchased the new style rebuild kits.Problem is i didnt recieve and havent had any luck getting a breakdown picture of the new style kit install.Does anyone have that?I,m not in too big a hurry as it will be a few weeks before i can move again after removing the (*&#@%&(&^%) pumps I belive they are the same as a bravo without outdrives.Thanks Glen

If you've got a 56 Olds, I have great memories as a 10 year old of my Dad's 57 Olds convertible - J2 engine. Wish they built 'em like that now!

Thanks for the link. The 56 is now after 5 years a shell in dp40 primer about 6 months from paint. The original engine is 324 v8 that i found a j2 tri-power intake for and it is balanced and blueprinted at .80 over.The body is however straight stock two tone ice green on top of medium canyon , and the interior will be stock also except a material change .Thanks again
