Almost got to the end of the season and now this.

Got to use the boat after 2 weeks, and port side raw water pressure PSI jumps to 15 pounds while starboard is still 1.5 pounds at idle. Mercruiser & Bravo 3 drives.

Sounds like the water outlet has something growing in it. I'd like to know if there is a usual place this happens before diving in. Any thoughts?

I had the same issue. It was a bad sensor.

Yep, I know about the bad run of sensors around 2008. Both of mine were replaced with the new design in 2011.

So do people still think it is the sensor, or a clog?

I would switch the sensors to confirm this is your problem. With the ignition on, the motor off do u still get a false reading? I had one reading 30psi at idle and 30psi with just the ignition on. It was just a faulty sensor.

Where I am the sensors are "consumables" - 1 every year pr engine. Those sensors are not worth the metal they are manufactured in. Other consumables are engine mounted water pumps and digital trim senders for B3.

X2. Same issue and replaced mine a few days ago.

Yep, last time I was at the boat it was 28lbs before I started the engines, so definitely a sensor.
