To the OP, depending on your setup, you may need to pull your risers and inspect to see if any pieces of rubber are stuck in the passages. This would only apply if you have raw water flowing in the manifolds, if they are part of the closed cooling system then there shouldn't be a problem. I'd pull every hose and back flush with a hose and pull the t-stat and see what is in there. Make sure to back flush any oil or power steering coolers also.
