Does anyone know the exact hose size that goes from the strainer to the engine heat exchanger on a 2001-2003 Mercruiser 8.1L MPI gas engine. I am pretty sure it is 1-1/2" but cannot be certain. I measured the circumference and from that I determined the OD is approx. 1.67". The engines have closed cooling, but this hose is on the raw water side of heat exchanger.
