When winterizing engines today and feeding anti freeze thru strainers for feed the actual discharge of the antifreeze went thru system and discharged out bottom of exhausts on boat and not thru side exhausts. Is that what I should have xpected because I basically added twice as much antifreeze before I realized it was coming out bottom exhausts while I was looking at side exhaust...

HMMM Not sure. The risers run to the exhaust hose then thru big black tube which which T's both risers and goes to bottom of boat thru hull. Then there is a bypass from the T which exhausts out the side exhaust hole.... Not exactly the technical response I was hoping to give you but hopefully it helps.... I did find the following.

I've never winterized my 370DA out of the water....so Im not sure about how you would get the mufflers filled with antifreeze while on a trailer. I also have both underwater and side exhaust ports.......when I do mine I connect a 5 gallon jug of a/f to my strainer and run the motor ( while fogging ) and be sure the a/f comes out the side port....this way Im sure the muffler is protected.

Im sure someone who HAS done it will chime in here .

Thanks Don!! Looks like yours and my exhaust setup is the same... I don't get alot of flow thru the side exhaust even when its in the water so I believe after sending 9 gallons thru each side before seeing it come out the bottom exhaust (Boat is on lift) I should be safe.......
