I have a Rapture SS prop on my alpha 1. I cannot find their website, and I would like to buy a spare hub for piece of mind. Does anyone know if Rapture props have pressed in hubs? :smt017

I'm not familiar with Rapture props, but most props have neoprene hubs that are pressed in. These are designed to give away in the event of hitting something, to minimize internal outdrive damage.
I'd advise carrying an inexpensive "spare prop", and make sure you have a prop wrench. An aluminum spare would be inexpensive, (SS = BIG $$$$) and could get you home should you need it. Some dealers have unclaimed reconditioned props that can be purchased reasonably.

You're in luck. I just purchased a brand new propeller from Michigan Wheel. Though not a Rapture, I recognized the brand name.

Like was said, I'd opt for a spare aluminum prop instead of a spare hub. If you mangle your prop, a spare hub will do you no good.

The Vortex prop I purchased from them has an XHS exchangeable hub that is a seperate piece from the prop.
