Hello All....
I have a 2001 310 DA. My cook top has stopped working. I think it might be the breaker/switch on my ac panel. The problem is, I can't find a breaker that matches. Does anyone know where I can find a carlingswitch 20 amp breaker. Is there a fuse anywhere that I should be looking at?
Thanks

Not sure how to do that... I did take out the breaker and had it tested. The guy said that he can't tell if the breaker part works, but that the switch was working.

Not long after I got my '98 290 we had problems with the water heater kicking the breaker. Figured the breaker was just weak so changed it out. Problem ended up being a wrong size fuse inserted for the water heater. Looked up size needed and put the correct size fuse in and has worked like a charm since. I had to pull the front breaker panel out & down to see the fuses. I'm guessing the stovetop probably has a fuse if the water heater does.

Did you check black button on upper right corner for being stuck down that is most common problem.

Hey Vandal.....
Can you explain a little better where the button is? I'm not really sure where you are talking about.

Thanks

Look around the edge where the cover sits. There's a little button that gets pressed down when you put the cover on, so you can't turn on the burners with the cover in place. The button gets sticky sometimes, and won't release.

My burner button is on the right hand side edge. When you place the burner cover down it pushes this button down to prevent you from turning on the burning accidentally.
