Im always paranoid of losing my hitch connection too. I dont think I even breath right till im at the intended location

My biggest fear while towing........... the truck ended up on a flatbed and I got towed to the launch ramp about 1.5 miles by a 4WD John Deere tractor..:smt021

Hey, you got to go boating, right?

My tires used to blow all the time when moving my boat (250) 100 yards to the launch ramp. My brakes would lock up... I'd still launch the boat. I'm not going to let a $60 tire stop me from boating!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People would keep telling me "You have a flat tire." I'd tell them "I'm going boating!"

You got it. apparently that "air flow over the transmission cooler thing" is a critical function!! Live and learn. 15 quarts of tranny fluid and a quick check of the seals and cooler and the trip home was uneventful. I thought I was buying my buddy a new transmission. My motto is simple.. never borrow anything that you are not willing to replace if you screw it up!

This cloud formation was taken with my cell phone over Ocean City, MD last week. Never saw anything like it.

Looks like a plane just came through that cloud layer on his glide slope, or was rising through it.

Any airport nearby?

Cool pic...very odd formation. I looked around the web for odd cloud formations, nothing I saw looked like that. Cool!

No, only small general aviation. This was above the east coast right at the Atlantic Ocean.

Those clouds in the picture look like they are pretty high. Probably a jet climbed or descended through the layer. Between the exhaust and wake turbulence mixing things up, it makes for a great photo.
