Usually it arrives Memorial Day weekend but this year we're getting it early. We've got 80% chance of rain through Thursday and then clearing up for the weekend.

The weather forcast for us now through the end of October will be "High today 83~85 along the coast with 88~90 well inland. Lows in the high 70's to low 80's. Fair to partly cloudy with a 40% chance of mainly afternoon and early evening thunderstorms. Winds will be 5~10 MPH with seas running 3' or less...bay waters smooth to a light chop." After 35 years in this climate, I've got it memorized.

That's because I arrived here on Saturday to fetch my boat. Decided to spend the week and enjoy some time with my son onboard. Today we enjoyed the view at the dock. Tomorrow not looking much better.

Tell me about it. I have until Friday the 22nd until my haul-out time is oveer. Had 21 days to do three years worth of upgrades/cleaning from P/O.
Luckily at my club the haul out is on about $100 for 21 days..... Looks like stereo shopping tomorrow...good thing is, except the new graphics, she could splash tomorrow...

Hopefully it will help Lake "O" water levels.

Well actually it is raining all up and down the East coast of Florida, and expected to continue for about to more days. There are also gale force wind warnings with seas running 7 - 10 foot. :smt024

Looks like the rainy season is here in full swing. NASA even diverted the shuttle landing because the weather is so bad. We are rained out this weekend.:smt009

Well I made it back to MA with the boat last night. So the rain is now up here. Should be clearing up in FL any minute now.

Amen to getting water in Lake O. BTW, this is unusual. There is a low stuck in the gulf giving us the rain all week.

Great boating day today. We had a sea breeze that kept most of the rain inland and the gulf was fairly calm. Just got home about 9 from putting the boat away. Long day on the water and ready for bed.

I spend every March in Ponce Inlet - when it rarely rains... I just had this story emailed to me - I thought it was a hoax until I tracked the story down through google.

I guess boat racing at Daytona International isn't far off?
