Hi, has anyone had any experience with this brand? I thought it might be nice to have a unit to be able to take off and to save on installing.

Not sure if this is rightI looked into that and you either have to supply 30Amps @ 12VDC from your batteries or run the AC version off your generator which would preclude the use of HVAC while it was running. I suppose it might make sense for long voyages but man that's a hefty power burden.

This has it at 1250 watts AC and makes up to 37 gallons in an hour…. So run it for a couple hours and fill my 70 gallon tank and good for several days

This one looks nice too, the main difference would be 10 GPH...Do you know what the price is?
That does look like a better choice!I don't, I am looking at the 40GPH AC installed version and saw they had this new model coming out.
The comparable systems to rainman are quite a bit cheaper and nothing against Australian made equipment I always prefer made in US if all else is similar.
My guess is they are debuting it at Miami Boat Show.
