Hey all.

If you happen to live in or are visiting the Ft Lauderdale area this weekend, I'll be out there with a few friends. It would be good to have CSR represented, so please come out & join us!

Also, for anybody that has rafted off there before, does the lake have any trouble spots that I should be aware of - other than the shore and other boats, LOL.

It seemed to be a pretty uniform depth when I checked it out in the little center console, but I've never anchored the sea ray in there before...

Hi Tim - I wish we could join you but I have work to do on the boat this weekend.

The lake has a shallow portion in the center. The deepest part of the lake is the Northern 1/3 portion. The shallow area is about waist deep at low tide. The deeper area has about 5-8 feet of depth at low tide.

Have a great time!

Randy

Awesome bro! Well, I wanted to do a night Saturday night but it looks like I might only be out there Saturday during the day - were you thinking Sat or Sun?

Sweet - I'll PM you my phone number - we'll be on Channel 68, my boatname is Crucial - I'm Tim. Either hail or phone me and hopefully I'll have one or the other device within earshot.

You all do know that you have post massive amounts of pictures of the raftup.(Grin) I mean the nerve of some people post links with the sun shinning while others are talking about sub-zero temps.

Hope you all have a great time. Are we going to be able to see you all in the web cam? The only thing I see out in the water is a sail boat.

Tim,
Is that you out in the Middle.

Well it does look like you all ran the sailboat off and a couple more boats have shown up. Where are you Tim and where is the fire? I think that is a firetruck in the lower left corner.

Well folks, it was a GREAT time. Randy, thanks for meeting me and the other folks out there. I am looking very forward to our Bahamas trip!

As you can evidence from the lack of a response yesterday, I had way too much fun on Saturday, and I needed some recovery time!

I've posted a couple pictures - I hope you don't mind I didn't really get any of my boat - you can see Randy's in the background of one of the pics...

Well dang it - I have been looking around in iPhoto on my Mac and I think I finally found something that a stock version of OS X won't do when compared to Windows. I have no 'paint' program, so I can't draw an arrow on the pic to show you my boat.

Anyway, if you look at the pink tower, and come straight down, you'll see a blue-hulled flybridge. No go up and to the right and you'll see my white-hulled boat all by our lonesome. We didn't get company until after 1P - I believe. The day was kind of a blur... :)

Looks, like a lot of fun. I had checked the website late in the day and it sure looked like it filled up with boats later on. One nice big yacht had showed up when I last looked.
