Radar arch question

I have a 2000 Sea Ray Sundancer 270. We got into a towing accident with it and bent up the Aluminum tube arch for the radar. on one side. Two questions:
Is there place that sells replacements?
Can it be repaired?

Yes - it can be fixed - plenty of shops is so fla that can do it - search for shops that advertise aluminum "tower" fabrication for boats......THT is a great resource to find a competent shop...

Sure, pull down the wrong street, only turn around option was a bank parking lot. Thought i was clear of the atm awning, and i wasnt. Hit the corner of the awning with radar arch. Took out the corner of the awning, and put about a 20 degree bend on port side arch. Not my finest hour.

We've all been there, done that. Maybe not exactly the same but we've all pulled bonehead moves a time or two.

I'd tell you about some of mine but dinner will be ready in a half hour so there's not time.

Sorry to hear, being in FL I would think you have quite a few shops that build / repair tops and towers. We have all done stuff like this, so don't be too hard on yourself. I've been boating for my whole life and I still pull of a good one every now and then.

Think of how boring life would be if we didn't do stupid things from time to time....like buy a boat that needs a ton of work, when your wife is 7 months pregnant and you just bought a house that needs tons of work that you are doing yourself and trying to start a new career and start an I dependant business at the same time......
Everyone calls us crazy but I tell them the same thing I told my wife before we got married.
Everyday will be an adventure, we will never be boring and we will make several mistakes along the way.
I'd say we are more stressed but happier than most.
I can live with that.
