I have read a bunch of threads on here of people changing to LEDs, and some colors and all kinds of versions. Played with a set of these last weekend and for the money... they work pretty good.

they fit the factory Perko 42mm Festooon bulb units in the Arches on ALOT of Sea Ray models. and the remote will work on more then 1 at a time.

just figured I would share the info as a few on the dock where impressed for 12 bucks, have mutiple boats all changing colors in sync.

Just ordered-will have some fun with my dock mates!

for 12 bucks, and 4 philips screws, they are fun to at least play with. I have normal Cool white LEDs to replace if they go out, die, or i get tired of them, what ever color you leave them on they come back on the next time there so you can leave them as white normally.

although thats one of my 2 complaints. white is not as white as I would like, and they dont stay perfectly in sync when running them in fade in and out mode for ling perios of time.

Thanks, I may just go ahead and order.

I bought some and tried them this past WE....they work well enough to be 'fun' and interesting.....as was stated earlier they will not stay in sync with each other very long when one of the 'effects mode' is chosen.....but that is OK with me....we just left them on 'Fade' mode where they slowly changed between 4 colors with a fade affect between each color...it didn't bother me that the fading of the two transom lights were different colors....

a few of my dock friends saw them and want to order some too so I sent them the link....

yep cheap, randomness. I have found I just pick a color and let them stay there. White, blue green what ever. and put them back in white before going to bed so next time they are on white when needed normal light.

They look pretty awesome and more importantly a inexpensive. Good recommendation.

I had one light stop working but after I turned it off and on again with the remote
it worked fine....

Just replaced the two arch lights with Lumitech "Mirage" multicolor LED fixtures. Only took about 20 min. to install. Just unscrew the old fixtures, cut the wires, connect the new wires with butt connectors and pop the spring held fixture into the hole and you're done. They look beautiful and operate using the helm rocker switch. Each time you operate the switch the color changes. I bought the White, Blue, Red, Purple. They were around $75 ea. Love them.

I rewired my arch lights (and will be replacing my lower courtesy lights) with ITC Red/Blue/White Tricolor LED Light (you can find them at Amazon here). They wired as a direct replacement to the Perko and look great. They cycle through the colors by simply pressing the light button at the helm (on/off walks them through). After a while off they will all reset to the default color (IIRC it's Red) and all on the same circuit stay in sync while toggling through the colors.

Are any of those colors better for NOT attracting bugs and such?
