Hey all,
I have an older style of the Commander series throttle and when disassembling it to remove the side panel on my boat a small plastic piece came out of the vertical part of the handle mechanism. It is the shape of a comma.
The throttle is off of a 1989 Sea Ray 200cc just to give the vintage of the controls. I am not sure where it is designed to go inside of the handle for reassembly and I don't see it in the manual for the throttle control. The plastic does not appear to be broken, but I would imagine that it probably matters to the proper performance of the mechanism. If anyone is familiar with this part and where it belongs and its orientation, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Mike
